Assembler

Location: Dexter, MI 48130
Pay Rate: $18.50/hr, paid weekly
Schedule: Monday Friday, 6:00 AM 2:00 PM
Overtime: Weekly overtime and Saturday availability expected
Duration: 1-Year Contract

Responsibilities

• Perform repetitive and non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and mechanical assemblies and subassemblies.

• Assemble components such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables.

• Follow visual aids, method layouts, diagrams, schematics, process flow sheets, and written or verbal assembly instructions.

• Set up initial layouts and use hand tools, power tools, jigs, saws, and other assembly equipment.

• Perform continuity checks on work in process and completed assemblies.

• Conduct quality inspections on the production line according to established quality specifications.

• Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies as required.

• Maintain accuracy, quality, and attention to detail throughout the assembly process.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of production-related systems and procedures is preferred.

• Entry-level candidates are welcome; no previous experience is required.

• Ability to perform detailed and precise assembly work.

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in a production environment.
