Assembler I (2nd Shift)

Assemble mechanical components, fabricated parts, and electrical systems using hand tools, power tools, jigs, and fixtures. Fit, align, calibrate, and adjust parts to meet precise engineering specifications and tolerances.

Location: 100% On-Site (Irvine, CA)

Duration: 18-Month Contract

Shift: Mon Fri, 2nd Shift (3:30 PM 12:00 AM OR 3:45 PM 12:15 AM)

Pay Rate: $21.72 / hr

Role Overview

Entry-level mechanical assembly position responsible for building subassemblies, components, and complete units following strict, standardized work instructions.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical components, fabricated parts, and electrical systems using hand tools, power tools, jigs, and fixtures.

• Fit, align, calibrate, and adjust parts to meet precise engineering specifications and tolerances.

• Perform basic troubleshooting and rework on units that fail quality or operating requirements.

• Follow detailed manufacturing procedures, safety protocols, and quality guidelines.

Requirements

• Experience: 0 1+ years of assembly, manufacturing, or hands-on mechanical experience (entry-level).

• Skills: Comfort using standard hand/power tools and working with basic mechanical components.

• Shift Availability: Dedicated 2nd shift availability for designated schedule options in Irvine, CA.
