Employ-Temps Staffing Services is hiring an Assembler in Canfield, OH. Were looking for a reliable, detail-oriented person who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in building quality products in a manufacturing environment.
Hours
1st Shift 8-430pm
Full-time schedule (about 40 hours per week)
Pay
$18.00 -$20.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities
Assemble components by positioning, aligning, and fastening parts into subassemblies or finished products
Follow work instructions and read mechanical drawings/schematics and bills of materials (BOMs) to complete builds in the correct sequence
Use common assembly tools and equipment (hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, torque tools, drills, presses, wire crimpers, etc.)
Perform quality checks on parts and completed assemblies for defects and dimensional accuracy (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
Maintain a clean, organized workspace using 5S/lean methods
Follow all safety rules and PPE requirements and complete minor preventative tool maintenance as needed
Minimum Requirements
Strong hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and basic math skills
Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions consistently
Ability to lift 3050 lbs
Ability to stand, bend, and work on your feet for extended shifts)
Comfortable working in a moderate-noise manufacturing setting
Preferred Education and Experience
Vocational training in manufacturing or technology
Manufacturing, warehouse, or mechanical background (entry-level to 3 years of experience)
