Assembler Associate II

Shift: 6:00 AM 2:30 PM
Summary:The Production Operator is responsible for all tasks associated with production activities for aseptically filling bottles/vials and applying labels to filled containers. Key functions include, but are not limited to:
- Operating (setup, shutdown, and cleaning) filling equipment within an ISO 7 environment
- Operating (setup, shutdown, and cleaning) multiple pieces of equipment used for quality checks and label application in an open-air Controlled Non-Classified (CNC) area
- Completing extensive documentation, both digital and hard copy
- Maintaining a safe working environment and general housekeeping
- Supporting production activities outside their direct area of work
The role requires the ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment, make sound and timely decisions, apply problem-solving skills, and consistently maintain product quality and GMP compliance.
What You'll Work On:- Follow established GMP instructions without deviation
- Execute highly complex or specialized work
- Proactively monitor production activities (e.g., clearing minor jams) and address other downtime issues to minimize impact on the production process
- Report any abnormal equipment function or product issues as soon as they are identified
- Operate filling, labeling, and other equipment according to established procedures and specifications
- Operate multiple pieces of equipment simultaneously
- Accurately complete work orders and other required documentation
- Safely operate all equipment and promptly report incidents, injuries, or safety hazards
- Maintain accurate and legible records
- Inspect products and materials to ensure acceptable visual and physical appearance
- Perform basic calculations
- Maintain and replenish production materials
- Complete general housekeeping tasks
- Contribute positively to the production team
- Take accountability for individual and team performance and efficiency
- Follow instructions with minimal supervision
- Communicate effectively in person, by phone, and via email
- Use computer-based programs, including Microsoft Office, SAP, and other custom production software
Required Qualifications:- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to lift 20 lbs.
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication)
- Basic computer literacy (data entry, inventory software, Microsoft Office)
- Prior experience manufacturing in a GMP environment
- Prior experience manufacturing in an environment adhering to ISO standards
- Ability to gown appropriately to work in a clean environment (hood, shoe covers, coveralls, etc.)
