Position Summary
We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assembler to join our team in Alpena, MI. This position is ideal for individuals with mechanical aptitude and a strong work ethic who are eager to contribute to the production of high-quality conveyor systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical components of conveyor systems using hand and power tools.
- Perform basic DC wiring tasks as part of the assembly process.
- Build pallets and prepare products for shipment.
- Operate forklifts for loading and unloading trucks.
- Follow detailed work instructions and safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Skills Needed
- Proficiency with basic hand tools (e.g., cordless drill, impact wrench).
- Ability to read and follow assembly instructions.
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems.
- Forklift operation skills (training provided if needed).
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
Knowledge Required
- Basic mechanical assembly principles.
- Fundamentals of DC electrical wiring.
- Safe handling and operation of tools and equipment.
- Workplace safety and organization standards.
Ability to Implement
- Apply mechanical and electrical knowledge to assemble conveyor systems accurately.
- Safely operate forklifts and other equipment to support production and logistics.
