We are seeking individuals to assemble products and ensure the overall conformance and quality of the product is met for a leading manufacturing facility in Walhalla, SC. Come join a growing team as a 1st shift Assembler! Responsibilities:
Assembles product to meet job order specifications
Uses tooling and equipment such as soldering irons, torque meters/drivers, wrenches, and pliers during the assembly process
Lifting, carrying, and transferring assembled products within departments and throughout the production area
Basic reading and comprehension
Ability to use tools and other devices that pertain to the above responsibilities
Must complete and perform job tasks accurately, efficiently, and in a timely manner
Performs other related activities as assigned by the Department Group Leader
Other Duties:
Uses job-relevant knowledge to assemble product
Performs job activities under supervision of Department Group Leader
Interacts and coordinates work with other production workers and group leaders
Interaction with members of management during the assembly process of the product may be necessary at times (Quality, Engineering, and Training Personnel)
Environment:
Indoors
Primarily sitting; some standing and walking
Some use of tools and equipment involving repetitive motions
Bending, lifting, and carrying (up to 50 lbs.)
Some interaction with chemicals or contaminants
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
There is no previous experience needed for this position
Training will be provided as necessary at initial job placement
Basic PPE required
Shift Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday – Friday, 7:00 am to 3:00 pmPay:$15.00 #IND3
