We are seeking individuals to assemble products and ensure the overall conformance and quality of the product is met for a leading manufacturing facility in Walhalla, SC. Come join a growing team as a 1st shift Assembler!
Responsibilities:- Assembles product to meet job order specifications
- Uses tooling and equipment such as soldering irons, torque meters/drivers, wrenches, and pliers during the assembly process
- Lifting, carrying, and transferring assembled products within departments and throughout the production area
- Basic reading and comprehension
- Ability to use tools and other devices that pertain to the above responsibilities
- Must complete and perform job tasks accurately, efficiently, and in a timely manner
- Performs other related activities as assigned by the Department Group Leader
Other Duties:- Uses job-relevant knowledge to assemble product
- Performs job activities under supervision of Department Group Leader
- Interacts and coordinates work with other production workers and group leaders
- Interaction with members of management during the assembly process of the product may be necessary at times (Quality, Engineering, and Training Personnel)
Environment:- Indoors
- Primarily sitting; some standing and walking
- Some use of tools and equipment involving repetitive motions
- Bending, lifting, and carrying (up to 50 lbs.)
- Some interaction with chemicals or contaminants
Requirements:- High School Diploma or equivalent
- There is no previous experience needed for this position
- Training will be provided as necessary at initial job placement
- Basic PPE required
Shift Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday – Friday, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm
Pay: $15.00
