The ideal candidate will have hands-on assembly experience, the ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics, and experience using hand and power tools. Use feeler gauges, manual and air/battery-powered hand tools, arbor presses, and hand trucks.

Shift: 6:00 AM 2:30 PM | Overtime as needed

Mon-Friday Sat if needed

Pay Rate: $22.00 $22.50/hour

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Assembler to perform mechanical and electrical assembly in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on assembly experience, the ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics, and experience using hand and power tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and assembly instructions to determine proper assembly procedures.
• Assemble a variety of components using hand tools and power tools.
• Verify dimensions, alignment, and functionality of assembled parts.
• Perform basic mechanical adjustments and alignments to ensure proper fit and operation.
• Perform operating tests according to product checklists.
• Use feeler gauges, manual and air/battery-powered hand tools, arbor presses, and hand trucks.
• Interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Install electrical components such as switches, sensors, connectors, and wiring harnesses.
• Conduct visual inspections to ensure assembled components meet quality standards.
• Identify and correct assembly discrepancies or defects.
• Document assembly processes, test results, and quality issues.
• Record production data on a daily basis.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment using 6S principles.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Assist with training less experienced employees as needed.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of assembly experience required.
• Mechanical and/or electrical assembly experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
