We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Loader Operator at our plant in Idaho Falls

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following

  • Communicate and promote safety compliance and environmental requirements in alignment with company standards
  • Ability to run mixing operations on the plant to ensure material quality and compliance with specification
  • Ensure consistent production to meet daily orders
  • Offloading hot asphalt oil
  • Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously and deal effectively with people using a facilitative approach include scaling ticketing and assist in asphalt orders
  • Responsible for completing daily checklist journal and reports
  • Continuously communicating with plant operators truckers quality control and dispatch
  • Problem solving skills to help identify and resolve issues that arise
  • Maintain aggregate stockpiles and liquid levels
  • Maintain good attendance and safety record and set an example for others to follow
  • Job requires steady to intermittent and repetitive physical activity including standing stooping kneeling climbing walking on uneven ground lifting carrying pushing shoveling and raking
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • Proven work history of two 2 years or more experience in asphalt plant operation
  • A high school diploma or general education degree GED
  • Valid drivers license
  • Must be able to work day shifts and night shifts. Shifts may vary according to project demands
  • Must be able to work in all weather conditions
  • Must be willing to travel if job requires
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
