Description

Job Title: Production Manager
Location: Utah
Pay: $Up to $87,000 (DOE)
Schedule: 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. (Mon-Fri) + extended hours/Saturdays as needed

Overview:
Seeking a motivated Production Manager to lead operations at an ASME-certified union pipe fabrication shop. This role ensures pipe spool fabrication and coatings align with project deadlines, industry codes (ASME B31.1/B31.3, API, ASTM), safety protocols, and customer expectations. You will work closely with Production, QC, Engineering, Estimating, Shipping/Receiving, Project Management, and Purchasing to optimize plant performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily shop operations and schedules to meet customer requirements.
  • Lead foremen in QC, Fabrication, Shipping/Receiving, and Safety compliance.
  • Support QC inspections, third-party audits, and shipping releases.
  • Ensure compliance with ASME, API, and other industry standards.
  • Provide progress updates, timelines, and fabrication estimates to management.
  • Drive safety, quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement across operations.

Qualifications:
Required:

  • 2-3+ years of leadership in pipe fabrication or related manufacturing.
  • Strong problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with ASME, API, ASTM codes, and union shop environments.
  • Experience with ITPs, QA documentation, and third-party inspections.
  • Background in engineering, welding, or construction management.
