    Job Summary
    The ASI Marketing Student Assistant for the Associated Students Incorporated, under the direction of the ASI Marketing Coordinator, will increase positive awareness of, and participation in, ASI and SC programs, services, and other opportunities among students, faculty, staff, and the surrounding community.

    Duties:
    • Assists with all ASI & SC Social Media Communication / Postings and keeps a calendar of postings for each week.
    • Develops and implements specialized promotional plans and strategies for ASI & SC campaigns, initiatives, programs, projects, events, and organizational priorities.
    • Develops and distributes ASI & SC marketing and promotional materials, including flyers, posters, newsletters, digital signage, and other print and digital promotional deliverables.
    • Plans and executes marketing events in collaboration with the ASI Marketing Coordinator
    • Maintains record of all Rental A-Frames and assists with check-in/check-out process.
    • Responsible for updating marketing material on all permanent A-Frames locations, keeps them cleaned and organized at all times.
    • Creates and maintains files of all publications, pertinent records, and timelines for each event, including project planning information, program descriptions and statistics, etc.
    • Collects marketing data for the semester report.
    • Promotes and operates merchandise sales pop-ups, assists with regular inventory checks and annual stock takes, and reports inventory discrepancies or concerns to the supervisor.
    • Assists with custom merchandise orders, including preparing quotes, coordinating purchases, ensuring quality standards, and providing customer service to internal and external customers.
    • Ensures any issues concerning customer care are reported to the ASI Marketing Coordinator.
    • Assists with graphic design services on promotional materials.
    • Attends leadership retreats, training orientations, workshops, etc.
    • Performs other related tasks and duties as assigned by the ASI Marketing Coordinator.
    Skills and Qualifications:
    • Possess a friendly and professional manner.
    • Able to maintain high standards of display and visual merchandising to ensure the Warrior Merchandise display is well presented.
    • Fully aware of security issues concerning stock in relation to shoplifting, leakage, and theft.
    • Ready and able to work individually or within a team environment.
    • Good numerical skills with the ability to manually calculate costs without error.
    • Willing to work on a shift basis including evenings and weekends.
    • Photoshop experience, attention to detail and able to meet deadlines.
            Required
    • Works an average of 15-20 flexible hours per week
    • Currently enrolled, matriculating CSU Stanislaus student with a minimum 2.0 grade point average.
    • MUST be available to work Wednesdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:
     
    Physical requirements and working conditions include, but are not limited to, sitting for extended periods; frequently standing and walking; normal manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination; lifting and moving objects weighing up to 20 lbs.; corrected hearing and vision to normal range; verbal communication; use of office equipment, including computer, telephone, copiers.
     
    Work is performed in an office environment and throughout the campus areas during student programs, continuous contact with other staff, students, faculty, and the public.
     
    This position includes evening and/or weekend hours as a regular part of the work schedule based on operational needs. Specific days and hours may vary.
