C. Harper Buick GMC in Connellsville is looking for an experienced ASE Certified Automotive Technician / Mechanic to join our growing service team.

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical vehicle concerns

• Utilize computerized diagnostic equipment

• Interpret scan data and technical service information

• Diagnose engine and drivability concerns

• Perform engine repairs

• Diagnose and repair braking systems

• Service steering and suspension systems

• Diagnose electrical and electronic system concerns

• Perform scheduled maintenance and preventative services

• Complete complex mechanical repairs

• Inspect vehicles for additional maintenance and repair needs

• Test-drive vehicles to verify customer concerns and completed repairs

• Communicate repair findings with Service Advisors

• Accurately document completed repairs

• Maintain accurate parts and service records

• Perform repairs according to dealership and manufacturer standards

• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment

• Stay current with evolving automotive technology and repair procedures

• ASE Certification required

• Previous professional automotive technician experience

• Strong mechanical diagnostic abilities

• Strong electrical diagnostic skills

• Experience with computerized diagnostic equipment

• Engine repair experience

• Brake repair experience

• Steering and suspension experience

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools and shop equipment

• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Professional and dependable attitude

• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

Technicians with previous experience working on Buick, GMC, Chevrolet or Cadillac vehicles are strongly encouraged to apply.

Experience with GM diagnostic systems, electrical diagnostics, engine performance, transmissions, trucks, SUVs or manufacturer-specific repair procedures can make you an especially strong candidate.

But we're also interested in talented ASE-certified technicians coming from other domestic, import and independent repair backgrounds.
