Responsibilities
- Perform asbestos removal using standardized abatement techniques
- Prepare work sites to ensure safety and containment
- Dispose of asbestos waste in accordance with regulatory guidelines
- Conduct air monitoring before, during, and after abatement procedures
- Maintain compliance with asbestos safety regulations and protocols
- Operate and maintain specialized abatement equipment and hand tools
- Coordinate within small teams (2-5 members) to complete projects efficiently
- Communicate effectively in both English and Spanish on site
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in asbestos abatement
- Asbestos Abatement Supervisor Certification
- Proficiency in asbestos abatement techniques and personal protective equipment usage
- Skilled in air quality monitoring and regulatory compliance
- Meticulous attention to detail with strong communication skills
- Fluency in both Spanish and English
