AS400 Programmer Analyst

AS400 Programmer Analyst On Site - Programmer Analyst will design, develop, maintain and support corporate software applications and EDI programs on the IBM iSeries (AS/400) using RPG/LE, SQL and CL. The Programmer Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to the following: Coordinate and manage corporate IT projects. Work on all aspects of software application development including: o Requirements Definitio n o Technical Design o Programming/Testin g o Implementation o Support and maintain existing software ap plications including troubleshooting software "bugs'' and applying software patches, fixes, and upgrades. o Train users on new corporate software applications. o Document program changes/enhancements related to corporate software o Bar coding Other miscellaneous duties as required Position Requirements Self starter - Must have at least five years operations/programming experience in an IBM iSeries (AS/400) environment . Must be proficient with RPG (III,LE & Free), CL, SQL programming languages . Experience with EDI mapping. Experience with IBMi Operations Experience with Turning Point/DISTRACK or VAI SK2 or other distribution software helpful. Strong writing and oral communication skills Project management skills Proficiency in MS/Office Able to work constru ctively and independently Able to work on multiple consecutive projects Must work on -site
