Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced AS400 Technical Lead with strong expertise in IBM i (AS400), COBOL, RPGLE, CL/CLLE, and DB2/400. The candidate will lead development, BRE extraction, STTM document preparation for mission-critical enterprise applications. The role requires technical leadership, client interaction, solution design, estimation, code reviews, and mentoring of development teams.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Lead development activities for mission-critical enterprise applications on IBM i (AS400).
• Perform Business Rules Extraction (BRE) and support STTM document preparation.
• Provide technical leadership, solution design, and effort estimation.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards.
• Interact with clients to gather requirements and provide technical solutions.
• Mentor and guide development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support legacy modernization initiatives and reverse engineering activities.

Qualifications:

• 15+ years of overall IT experience.
• 8+ years of hands-on experience in AS400 and COBOL (Mandatory).
• Strong expertise in IBM i (AS400), RPGLE, CL/CLLE, and DB2/400.
• Experience with Query/400 and SQL.
• Preferred experience in Legacy Modernization, Reverse Engineering, and Business Rules Extraction (BRE).
• Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.
