Role & Responsibilities

Averro is seeking an Aruba ClearPass Consultant for a short-term client engagement focused on the implementation of certificate-based authentication for enterprise Wi-Fi access. This is a hands-on, delivery-focused engagement requiring deep expertise in Aruba ClearPass Policy Manager, RADIUS/802.1X authentication, and Microsoft PKI integration. The consultant will own configuration, testing, and knowledge transfer end to end.

• Configure Aruba ClearPass to trust the certificate chain from the Microsoft CA
• Configure the RADIUS service for EAP-TLS certificate-based authentication
• Configure wireless networks for certificate-based Wi-Fi access
• Coordinate with the Microsoft CA Consultant to receive and install the server certificate
• Perform testing and verification of certificate-based authentication on domain-joined Windows clients
• Verify successful wireless network join and authentication for both single-user and multi-user clients
• Document configuration steps and provide knowledge transfer to client administrators

Essential Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Aruba ClearPass Policy Manager
• Strong knowledge of RADIUS and 802.1X authentication protocols (EAP-TLS, EAP-TEAP)
• Experience integrating ClearPass with Microsoft Certificate Authority (PKI)
• Familiarity with Aruba wireless network configuration and WLAN profiles
• Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy
• Ability to perform end-to-end testing and troubleshoot authentication failures

Bonus Qualifications

• Aruba Certified ClearPass Associate (ACCA) or Professional (ACCP) certification
• Experience with Microsoft Intune for MDM-based certificate auto-enrollment
• Background in enterprise Wi-Fi security architecture
