The City of Northglenn is seeking a highly qualified, energetic, and organized individual to serve as the Arts, Culture & Community Manager. This position is a key leadership role within the Parks, Recreation & Culture Department, providing strategic direction and operational oversight for the Citys arts, cultural, and senior services. The position has primary responsibility for the operation and management of the Parsons Theatre and related facilities, booking the Northglenn Arts Presents series, serving as the Executive Producer for Northglenn Youth Theatre, managing cultural events, touring and community partnerships, public art initiatives, and supporting the Northglenn Senior Center.
The position is responsible for developing and implementing dynamic arts and cultural programs that enhances quality of life, fosters community engagement, generates economic activity, and supports the Citys strategic goals. The position oversees theater operations, arts programming, facility scheduling, community use, and partnerships with arts organizations, contractors, artists, educational institutions, nonprofits, governmental agencies, volunteers, and other community stakeholders.
This position also serves as the Director to the Northglenn Arts & Humanities Foundation, a separate 501(c)3 organization, providing professional leadership and guidance to support fundraising, advocacy, strategic planning, donor engagement, grant development, and community investment in the arts. In addition, the position manages the Citys senior center and historic preservation initiatives and collaborates closely with internal departments and external partners to advance Citywide projects, cultural initiatives, and community engagement opportunities.
As a member of the Parks, Recreation & Culture Department leadership team, the Arts, Culture & Community Manager works collaboratively across divisions to support departmental operations, strategic planning, budget development, capital improvement projects, policy development, and organizational initiatives. The position requires a collaborative, innovative leader who thrives in a team-oriented, self-directed environment while providing exceptional customer service to residents, patrons, performers, volunteers, community partners, city council, and staff.
Duties and Responsibilities
Education and Experience
Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in Arts Administration, Performing Arts Management, Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, Cultural Studies, Event Management, or a closely related field.
Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible supervisory experience in arts administration, theater management, cultural programming (including both producing and presenting performances), performing arts venue operations, community engagement, or a closely related field.

Regular Full-Time
