Armored Services Analyst
Position Summary
The Armored Services Analyst is responsible for monitoring, coordinating, and supporting armored cash logistics services for ATMs across the network. This role serves as a key liaison between armored carriers, ATM support teams, and internal operations, ensuring timely cash replenishment, issue resolution, and accurate tracking of armored service activities. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience in banking, armored services, or ATM operations.
Key Responsibilities
Armored Service Coordination
- Monitor and track completion of scheduled and unscheduled armored service requests.
- Follow up with armored carriers regarding incomplete or missed service dispatches.
- Identify ATMs that are low on cash or out of cash and coordinate armored replenishment services as needed.
- Support armored technicians in the field by providing operational assistance and guidance through the dedicated phone line.
ATM Operations Support
- Retrieve and review Electronic Journal (EJ) data for armored and cash service providers using secure access tools and portals.
- Coordinate with the Support Center when ATMs cannot be replenished due to mechanical issues, lock failures, or other equipment-related concerns.
- Facilitate communication between armored service providers and internal repair teams to ensure timely resolution.
Ticket Management & Reporting
- Process and maintain Device Manager tickets in accordance with established tracking and reporting guidelines.
- Accurately document armored service activity and categorize incidents by fault type.
- Complete assigned operational tasks and departmental processes to support overall service delivery.
Customer & Vendor Communication
- Answer incoming calls from armored technicians and provide assistance during service visits.
- Maintain professional communication with armored carriers, cash providers, and internal support teams.
- Escalate operational issues when appropriate to minimize ATM downtime and service disruptions.
Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Associate Degree preferred.
Experience
- 3+ years of experience in armored services, banking operations, ATM services, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience supporting ATM cash management, armored service operations, or banking environments strongly preferred.
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capability to identify root causes and recommend solutions.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to type a minimum of 50 words per minute.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Working knowledge of Windows operating systems.
