Armed Security Supervisor Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support security officers at assigned client locations.
  • Ensure all officers adhere to post orders, uniform standards, and company policies.
  • Conduct routine inspections of posts and personnel.
  • Respond to incidents and emergencies, de-escalate situations when needed, and complete appropriate documentation.
  • Monitor site activities and provide real-time updates to clients and leadership.
  • Manage scheduling, call-offs, and post coverage as needed.
  • Train and mentor new officers; provide coaching and corrective feedback when necessary.
  • Maintain positive client relations and address concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure all officers are properly certified, licensed, and trained per state and company requirements.
  • Carry and maintain a firearm in accordance with state law and company policy.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Must be a current or retired Law Enforcement Officer.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred).
  • Minimum 1-2 years of armed security experience.
  • Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in a security or military/law enforcement setting.
  • Valid armed security license and applicable state-required training (e.g., firearms qualification).
  • Current driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Must pass a background check, drug screening, and firearm qualification.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Must be physically able to stand, walk, climb stairs, and conduct patrols for extended periods.

  • Must be prior Law Enforcement or Military
  • Must have an active/valid CCW
  • Must have an active/valid Security Guard Card BSIS
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Must have reliable form of transportation to and from assigned workstations
  • Must have weekend availability as required by site scheduling needs
  • Minimum 5+ years of career armed guard, law enforcement, or military security experience.
  • Must pass psychological evaluation and structured interview.
  • If applicable, valid HR-218 credentials or retired law enforcement ID with carry permit.
  • Military candidates must present DD-214 with an honorable discharge. If applicable, valid HR-218 credentials or retired law enforcement ID with carry permit.
  • The position is expected to work 50 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. PST. Based on the anticipated overtime schedule, the estimated annualized compensation for this role is approximately $146,000. Actual earnings may vary depending on the number of hours worked, including any overtime worked during the year.
