    What You'll Do
    As an Armed Security Professional, you will play a critical role in protecting people, property, and operations while delivering exceptional customer service.
    Responsibilities include:
    • Conducting routine patrols of assigned properties
    • Monitoring facilities and identifying potential security concerns
    • Enforcing access control procedures
    • Responding to incidents and emergencies professionally
    • Preparing detailed incident and activity reports
    • Maintaining security equipment and reporting deficiencies
    • Assisting with investigations when necessary
    • Interacting professionally with clients, visitors, and team members
    • Supporting a safe, welcoming, and secure environment

    Required Qualifications
    • Must be at least 21 years old
    • Valid Illinois Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC)
    • Valid Illinois Firearm Owner's Identification (FOID) Card
    • Completion of Illinois state-required 40-hour firearms training through an approved provider
    • Ability to maintain Firearm Control Card (FCC) eligibility and annual firearm qualifications
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to remain composed during emergencies and high-pressure situations
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Experience conducting patrols and incident response
    • Knowledge of access control procedures
    • Familiarity with surveillance and security equipment
    • First Aid and CPR certification (preferred but not required)
    • Report-writing experience
