As a Security Officer Armed Threat Deterrence in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to customer and store needs. You will use strong communication and customer service skills while supporting a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $32.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and/or employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, receiving zones, parking areas, and perimeter access points.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and applicable laws.
• Maintain professional readiness and handle authorized equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, client requirements, and applicable regulations.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity accurately, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
