As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Communications in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer in a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming environment through professionalism, integrity, and teamwork while representing Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture.

Pay Rate: $27.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and/or visitors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail sales areas, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for suspicious activity, potential hazards, and policy violations; document observations and complete incident reports according to site requirements.
• Carry authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, and Allied Universal and site-specific policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid firearms permit is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
