Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and highly professional Armed Security Officer to provide security coverage during weekdays shifts. In this role, you will be responsible for safeguarding personnel, property, and assets by maintaining a secure environment through proactive patrols, surveillance, and timely incident response. This position is ideal for experienced security professionals seeking weekend-only employment while making a meaningful impact on the safety of our clients and facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor assigned premises through CCTV systems and conduct routine patrols to identify and address potential security risks.
- Respond promptly and professionally to alarms, emergencies, disturbances, and other security incidents, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency personnel when necessary.
- Control access to the property by verifying authorized personnel, visitors, and deliveries while preventing unauthorized entry.
- De-escalate conflicts using sound judgment, effective communication, and professional conflict resolution techniques.
- Complete accurate and detailed incident, activity, and shift reports in a timely manner.
- Enforce company policies and site-specific procedures while maintaining a visible and professional security presence.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in armed security, law enforcement, military service, or a related field preferred.
- Valid armed security license and any required state certifications.
- Strong understanding of security procedures, emergency response protocols, and legal responsibilities.
- Excellent communication, observation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods as required.

- Weekend Availability Required
- Saturday and Sunday shifts (day, evening, or overnight based on operational needs).
