As an Armed Security Officer in a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. This driving post requires a valid driver's license and Level III Armed Certification. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of retail sales areas, entrances, exits, parking lots, loading areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for suspicious activity, potential theft, policy violations, and hazards, and report observations through appropriate channels.
• Maintain a professional presence while following applicable laws, site requirements, and Allied Universal procedures for armed posts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or 5+ years of armed security-related experience.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
