As a Armed Security Officer Access Control in Adelanto, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will manage access control, verify credentials, monitor entry points, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. Pay Rate: $26.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorized access, and maintain accurate visitor and contractor records in accordance with site policies.
• Screen visitors, deliveries, and/or vehicles as directed, escalating access concerns or prohibited-item observations to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established security-related procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned business areas and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Have at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess a California Weapons Permit with a 9mm caliber endorsement.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
