Chenega Naswik International, LLC is seeking professional and dependable Armed Security Guards to support security operations at a U.S. Government facility. This position is responsible for protecting personnel, property, equipment, and facilities through access control, patrol operations, security inspections, and emergency response activities.
The ideal candidate is alert, disciplined, and committed to maintaining a safe and secure environment while interacting professionally with government personnel, visitors, contractors, and the public. This role requires sound judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to respond effectively in dynamic situations.
Provide armed security services for government facilities, personnel, property, and assets.
Control access to facilities by verifying credentials and screening personnel, visitors, vehicles, and deliveries.
Conduct foot and vehicle patrols to detect and deter unauthorized activity and security violations.
Monitor facilities, grounds, and restricted areas for safety and security concerns.
Respond to alarms, incidents, emergencies, and other security-related situations in accordance with established procedures.
Perform personnel, vehicle, building, and facility inspections as required.
Enforce site security procedures, post orders, and applicable government regulations.
Direct vehicle and pedestrian traffic and support access control operations.
Communicate effectively with supervisors, fellow security personnel, emergency responders, and government representatives.
Participate in guard mount, receive post assignments, and follow special instructions as required.
Maintain issued uniforms, weapons, and equipment in a clean and serviceable condition.
Work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and alternate shifts as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Minimum of one (1) year of experience in security, military, military police, law enforcement, or a related protective services field.
Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to operate SUV-style vehicles.
Must possess an active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
Must possess a current CPR certification through the American Red Cross.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English sufficiently to prepare reports and communicate effectively.
Must possess a valid Social Security card issued by the Social Security Administration.
Must not be prohibited from possessing a firearm under the Lautenberg Amendment.
Must successfully meet all required physical agility standards established by the U.S. Army.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior military police, law enforcement, armed security, or force protection experience.
Experience supporting Department of Defense or federal government contracts.
Experience with access control, patrol operations, incident response, and security inspections.
Current First Aid or emergency response certifications.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of security operations, access control procedures, and patrol techniques.
Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions during emergencies and high-stress situations.
Strong observation skills and attention to detail.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to prepare clear and accurate reports.
Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, and PowerPoint.
Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism and accountability.
Ability to safely handle and operate firearms and other security equipment.
