Hourly Pay: $28.00 – $35.00

Position Overview
Safeguard Security Group is seeking experienced Full Time Armed Security Guards for ongoing, steady daytime assignments. This role is ideal for licensed professionals seeking consistent hours, a structured schedule, and professional management.
Schedule (Consistent Day Shift)
- Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:30 PM
- Weekends:8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a highly visible armed security presence to deter criminal or unauthorized activity
- Monitor entrances, exits, and assigned areas to ensure controlled access
- Conduct routine patrols and remain outside/visible as required by post orders
- Respond promptly and professionally to incidents or emergencies
- Enforce site rules, procedures, and company policies
- Complete accurate daily activity logs and incident reports
- Protect people, property, and assets with vigilance and composure
Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Valid New York State Armed Security Guard License (required)
- Active firearm permit with current range qualification
- Prior armed security or law enforcement experience preferred
- Strong communication skills and situational awareness
- Ability to remain alert and on post for extended periods
- Professional appearance, punctuality, and reliability required
- Must be available for the listed schedule
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly rate: $28.00 – $30.00 (based on experience and assignment)
- Consistent full time hours
