Armed Security Guard (88329)

Position Summary

We are seeking professional, dependable, and service-oriented Armed Security Officers to provide security services at government and public service facilities throughout Los Angeles County. Officers are responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and members of the public while delivering exceptional customer service and adhering to all applicable security procedures and regulations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned facilities and surrounding property to identify and address security concerns.
• Maintain a visible security presence to deter criminal activity and disruptive behavior.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, emergencies, and requests for assistance.
• Prepare accurate and timely incident, activity, and investigation reports.
• Monitor facility access and enforce security procedures.
• Provide professional customer service while interacting with employees, visitors, contractors, and members of the public.
• Assist with emergency response procedures, evacuations, and safety-related incidents.
• Maintain compliance with all company policies, post orders, and applicable laws and regulations.
• Perform duties in a professional, ethical, and courteous manner at all times.

Work Environment

Officers may work at public-facing government facilities where interactions with employees, visitors, clients, and community members occur daily. The successful candidate must demonstrate professionalism, sound judgment, strong customer service skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
