Palm Health has joined an established and highly respected cardiothoracic surgery practice in Arizona that is seeking a Physician Assistant to join its growing surgical team.
This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside a team of experienced cardiothoracic surgeons in a high-volume cardiac surgery program serving multiple leading hospitals throughout the Phoenix metropolitan area.
The position is entirely hospital-based with no outpatient clinic responsibilities, allowing providers to focus on operative and inpatient care.

Responsibilities
- First assist in cardiothoracic surgical procedures
- Endoscopic and open vein harvesting
- Daily inpatient rounding
- Pre-operative and post-operative patient management
- Inpatient consultations
- Coordination of care with surgeons, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary teams
- Participation in shared call coverage
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- NCCPA Certification
- Active Arizona license or ability to obtain
- Prior operating room experience required
- Vein harvesting experience preferred
- Cardiothoracic Surgery experience strongly preferred
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
