Area Sales Manager - Specialty Rental - North East Region

Job Description

Your role As an Area Sales Manager - Steam North East Region your mission is to drive sales growth for our business by leveraging your technical expertise and understanding of customer needs. You will be expected to generate new business maintain existing base and maximize customer satisfaction in the boiler rental industry. You will report to the RegionalSales Manager and work closely with the engineering and product teams to ensure the successful implementation of sales strategies.

Your day-to-day You will Expand existing customer base within assigned territory to promote Atlas Copco Specialty Rental Division North Americas SRDNA boiler rental business

Daily calling on regular and prospective customers via phone or traveling throughout the assigned territory for planned visits andor cold calling

Work closely with technical staff to provide customers with job site assessments application solutions equipment sizing problem resolution and follow-through

Coordinate project specs with internal operationalpersonnel to ensure that the objectives of the project is accomplished in accordance with the customer timeline and requirements

Monitor competitor products sales and marketing activities

Prepare accurateand current progress reports for management on the status of all pending opportunities and customer-related activities

In concert with management develop and achiever applicable Annual Territory Sales Plan which sets KPIs revenue and market growth targets

Must be highly organized and able to handle multiple opportunities and clients concurrently

Ability towork effectively and meet objectives without detailed day-to-day direction

The successful ASM-Steam will be driven to improve the revenue for Steam in the Mid-Atlantic region. Heshe will be an active Steam Subject Matter Expert and will be driven to grown the Steam Solutions business in the assigned area of responsibility

Your skills and experience You have 5 years of experience in one of the following industries HVAC generators chillers boilers or heat exchangers and previous experience with rentalleasing environment

Bachelors of Science in Engineering or business preferred

Your job location This role is mostlyremote enabling you to live and work from anywhere within the region ofWaterbury CT United States US including CT MA or RI while being associated with our customer center in Delanco NJ. You may be required to come to the office or an occasional meeting with the rest of the sales team or with a customer.

Salary Information Salary range for this position is 80000 to 95000 USD DOE.
