RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Drive sales growth and achieve annual revenue and profitability targets within designated Focus Industries and assigned geographic territories.
- Develop, implement, and maintain strategic account and territory plans while providing accurate and timely sales forecasts.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and technical solutions featuring the Bürkert product portfolio during customer visits and sales engagements.
- Utilize a combination of prospecting, relationship management, and value-based selling strategies to acquire new customers and strengthen existing customer relationships.
- Influence and secure specifications of Bürkert solutions with OEMs, contract design firms, system integrators, and other key stakeholders.
- Coordinate sales and marketing initiatives with the Marketing Team and Focus Industry Managers, including product launches, trade shows, digital marketing tools, and other promotional activities.
- Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities within the Medical, Laboratory, and Analytical markets.
- Collaborate closely with Regional Business Development Managers to qualify leads, develop opportunities, and expand business within the assigned territory.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of sales activities, customer interactions, opportunities, and forecasts within the CRM system (Microsoft Dynamics) while meeting established CRM KPI expectations.
- Support customers' business development efforts by providing product training, technical assistance, and application expertise to help them achieve their strategic objectives.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Travel is expected to be 25% or greater, depending on the assigned territory and business needs. The expectation is to travel as necessary to effectively support customers, develop opportunities, and achieve business objectives.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Life Sciences, or a related technical field preferred; equivalent technical training and relevant industry experience will also be considered.
- Minimum of 2 years of technical sales experience, preferably within the Medical, Laboratory, Analytical, or related industries.
- Experience developing customer relationships and identifying new business opportunities within a defined sales territory is preferred.
- Strong customer focus with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to effectively prioritize daily activities and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also operating independently with minimal supervision.
- Self-motivated with a strong desire for continuous learning, professional development, and personal growth.
- Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts, applications, and solutions to a variety of audiences.
