Area Retail Director - Southeast Apply Now
Position
The Area Retail Director is responsible for leading the sales & business strategy for the Southeast Region. The main responsibilities include providing leadership and coaching to the Store Leaders, driving sales development, supporting the growth of the teams and delivering excellence on the Client Experience. Reports directly to the Vice President of Retail and manages a team of Store Directors.
Job responsibilities
- Lead, inspire and motivate a Team of Store Leaders to deliver high performance in line with the company's expectations and standards both qualitatively and quantitatively.
- Engage in clear and consistent communication with the Store Teams and Corporate Partners to align with operational standards and identify opportunities.
- Partner with the VP of Retail & HRBP on the Business Operations & People strategies to achieve the sales expectations for the Region.
- Lead the performance management process (KPIs on Performance, CRM, Client Experience…) defined for each Store and follow up with the Store Directors in partnership with the appropriate Corporate Partners.
- Create specific business plans per Boutique with Store Leaders focusing both on short-term and long-term strategic and financial objectives to achieve.
- Develop targeted action plans for High Jewelry Business development in partnership with the High Jewelry and Merchandising Teams.
- Support the Store Directors in identifying and recruiting HNW prospects while developing new and innovative business ideas through networking and an entrepreneurial approach.
- Involved in the development, strategy, sales and phasing forecast during Budget preparation.
- Partner with Regional Training Team to define and deploy a proper Sales & Client Experience training strategy.
- Partner with Human Resources and Store Leaders on talent development through the coaching of existing teams and the creation of succession plans, identifying and growing top Talents both internally and externally.
- Manage operational execution (policy & procedure) and ensure that Loss Prevention policies and practices are being followed within the region.
- Manage monitoring and controlling of Boutique business expenses as well as oversee the proper allocation of gifting and Client entertainment resources.
- Partner with Corporate Team on activities for new Product launches, events and activities to enhance visibility in the market and increase net sales.
- Represent Bulgari at meetings, events, and other work-related functions.
- Visit markets in the region regularly, up to 75% travel required. Includes travel to New York for corporate meetings and events.
Profile
- Multi-Store and/or High Volume Experience required
- Luxury Retail Experience is required, High End Jewelry Experience is preferred
- Strong People & Performance Management Skills
- Strong computer skills: Excel, Word, Power Point
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Must be willing to travel up to 75% of the time
- Candidate is ideally based in Miami area
