This position is for an individual who enjoys working with other employees in a challenging role to make quality paper at a competitive cost. It also allows for personal growth both as a leader and in technical areas of paper manufacturing. The person in this role is integral to the overall success of Paper Machine as well as the Somerset Mill and is a key member of the management team.
- As a key member of the Paper Machine team, you will lead safety initiatives that ensure an accident-free and safe workplace.
- You will lead your teams efforts to deliver machine productivity goals at low cost, meet all environmental regulations and continuously improve operational efficiency.
- You will manage the day-to-day operations and lead the shift crew with effective communication, problem-solving, teamwork and administrative skills to meet site objectives.
- You will work in conjunction with maintenance personnel to ensure equipment uptime, reliability and asset life in your area of responsibility.

Entry requirements:
- Bachelors degree in chemical engineering or another related engineering field, or equivalent
- 3 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated ability to achieve results through people
- Strong Safety Leadership
