Position Summary Duncan & Sons', a Clean Team company, is seeking a dependable and experienced Area Manager to oversee evening operations across multiple client locations in the Knoxville Metro area. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who can manage teams, coordinate schedules, and ensure consistent service delivery. The Area Manager plays a key role in maintaining quality standards, controlling labor costs, and supporting employee development in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.
Responsibilities
Supervise and support employees at assigned facilities to ensure quality, safety, and efficiency
Train, coach, and evaluate team members; provide clear expectations and ongoing feedback
Manage staffing levels, scheduling, and coverage for absences or open positions
Monitor budgeted hours versus worked hours and adjust staffing to maintain profitability
Enforce company policies, safety procedures, and productivity standards
Conduct routine site inspections and address service or performance issues promptly
Communicate with employees and leadership to ensure smooth daily operations
Resolve employee concerns professionally while maintaining a positive work environment
Qualifications
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and active auto insurance required
Prior supervisory or management experience required
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple sites and priorities independently
Experience in janitorial, facilities management, or service operations preferred
