Architectural Project Manager - Columbus, OH #26-00437

An industry-leading Architecture and Engineering (A/E) firm is seeking an experienced Architectural Client/Project Manager to join our team in Columbus, OH area. If you are an architecture professional with a background in retail construction and a passion for mentorship and project leadership, we want to talk to you.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing day-to-day communications and ensuring project requirements are met.
  • Lead and coordinate project teams, ensuring adherence to clients high standards for quality and design.
  • Utilize expertise in AutoCAD and Revit to oversee architectural design, millwork detailing, and construction documents.
  • Manage overall project budgets, schedules, fee negotiations, and monthly client billing.
  • Act as the primary interface for Structural and MEP consultants.
  • Train, mentor, and conduct performance reviews for Design Associates and junior Project Managers.
  • Ensure expert-level compliance with current building codes and constructability standards.

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail construction or light commercial projects.
  • Degree in Architecture (Professional licensure is a plus, but not required).
  • Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Revit is essential.
  • Strong background in architectural detailing, millwork, and construction documentation.
  • Intermediate knowledge of building codes and foundational understanding of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems.
