Architectural Project Manager (Salary Range: $85,000 to $115,000)




Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Architectural Project Manager to join a highly collaborative and growing architecture firm in Dallas. This position will lead data center projects from schematic design through construction administration.




The ideal candidate combines strong architectural knowledge, technical proficiency, and project leadership skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal design teams. Key Responsibilities




Project Leadership and Design Execution
  • Lead data center projects from schematic design through construction administration
  • Translate design concepts into clear, coordinated, and buildable architectural solutions
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, staffing plans, and work plans
  • Oversee the preparation and coordination of architectural drawing sets, details, schedules, and specifications
  • Maintain the original design vision throughout documentation and construction
  • Balance design quality, technical requirements, budgets, and schedules
  • Ensure project deliverables meet established quality standards and client expectations




Client and Team Collaboration
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients throughout the project
  • Lead client meetings, presentations, and design workshops
  • Communicate design concepts and project information clearly through drawings, presentations, and verbal communication
  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and other project partners
  • Support alignment among all disciplines throughout the design and construction process
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to a collaborative studio culture
  • Manage multiple priorities and deadlines with minimal supervision




Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture
  • 8 to 15 years of professional architectural experience
  • Strong experience managing data centers projects
  • Proven ability to lead projects through all phases of design and construction
  • Strong proficiency in Revit
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, rendering software, and related architectural tools
  • Working knowledge of building codes, accessibility requirements, life safety standards, construction methods, and architectural documentation
  • Experience managing project schedules, budgets, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong organizational, communication, and client relationship skills
  • Architectural registration preferred but not required
