Architect Project Manager - Industrial

Working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment, this individual will help deliver technically complex projects that support people, communities, and commerce while contributing to the continued growth of the firm's Industrial practice. This role oversees large-scale manufacturing, distribution, logistics, warehouse, and other industrial facilities, managing multiple projects simultaneously while coordinating multidisciplinary teams and external consultants.

Overview:   

Our client, a well-established multidisciplinary design firm, is seeking a Architect Project Manager - Industrial to lead complex industrial projects from conceptual design through construction. This role oversees large-scale manufacturing, distribution, logistics, warehouse, and other industrial facilities, managing multiple projects simultaneously while coordinating multidisciplinary teams and external consultants. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with architectural project management experience who can anticipate challenges, develop effective solutions, build strong client relationships, and mentor junior staff. Working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment, this individual will help deliver technically complex projects that support people, communities, and commerce while contributing to the continued growth of the firm's Industrial practice. This full-time hybrid position is located in Portland, OR.

Responsibilities: 

• Lead pursuit efforts at the project level which include RFP responses, scope and fee estimates, and Client interviews.
• Coordinate assembly of proposals, including coordination with consultants.
• Prepare and review client and consultant contracts.
• Provide regular communication and coordination with project team, discipline leads, and project Principal.
• Can juggle budgets, schedules, personalities, and deadlines without breaking a sweat.
• Serve as a reliable point of contact with clients and consultants.
• Coordinate design processes and facilitate meetings.

Requirements:

• 10 to 20+ years of architectural experience; specific or various project types.
• Architectural license is preferred.
• Strong communication skills, with an emphasis on delivering quality design for our clients.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project and Bluebeam required.
• Experience working in and managing Revit and BIM workflows are a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently on projects through design development, construction documents, and contract administration phases.
