    Description

    Experience: 6+ years, licensed architectural staff

    Professional degree in architecture from an accredited program, with more than six years of related experience. Intermediate-level staff who may be licensed or actively pursuing licensure. Responsible for specific technical design aspects of an assigned major project, including investigation, evaluation, and recommendation of design solutions that best meet client needs. Provides professional architectural consultation in the planning, design, and coordination of large, complex projects. Independently applies advanced architectural concepts and designs. Carries out complex or novel assignments requiring the development of new or improved techniques and procedures. May provide technical guidance to less experienced architects and staff.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 6+ years of relevant experience with similar scope projects
    • Bachelor of Architecture, Bachelor of Science in Architecture, or Master of Architecture degree
    • Intermediate-level staff; licensed or actively pursuing licensure
    • Demonstrated high knowledge across multiple projects of specific components, systems, and/or portions of the overall project design and delivery process, applying knowledge independently within the team context

    Responsibilities

    • Develop design and/or technical documentation preparation and perform tasks under supervision of senior project architect, project architect, and senior/project designer
    • Engage in tasks that are the responsibility of the project architect and project designer
    • Produce graphic presentations, design models for design studies, and presentations
    • Establish and maintain select client and consultant communication with supervised independence
    • Accountable for successful completion of assigned tasks
    • Provide mentoring for project team members

    Skillsets

    • Extensive experience in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, rendering platforms (Lumion, Enscape), Bluebeam, and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
    • Demonstrated competency in multiple aspects of the overall project design and delivery process with the ability to work independently within the team context
    • Demonstrated graphic presentation and communication skills
    • Takes ownership of defined portions of project delivery within the overall team framework
    • Demonstrated leadership qualities within the project team
    • Supports team members as a knowledgeable resource
