Our client is looking for an Arbor or Tree Service and Plant Health Production/Field Manager.  The company is growing organically and has doubled their marketing budget to capture more Residential clients in the local market. 

We want to hire someone who has worked as a Crew Leader in the past as that knowledge will be very valuable.  They will focus on training employees on working efficiently and safely and they will be responsible for 3 tree crews. 

They will coordinate with Dispatch and Management to fully understand new projects that are contracted and will communicate, monitor and support the crews as they fulfill the work.

Below are 5 Main Responsibilities:


1.Lead, Manage, and Develop Field Teams

- Oversee all crews and FSs; set standards for professionalism,
accountability, and performance.
- Hire, train, evaluate, and coach FSs and crew leaders.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and alignment with company values.

2.Safety and Compliance Management
- Own company-wide safety programs, training, and incident
management.
- Ensure compliance with ANSI Z133, OSHA, and company-specific safety standards.
- Coach FSs and crews on risk mitigation and corrective actions.

3.Job Dispatch and Daily Operations Readiness
- Dispatch crews daily with complete job information, equipment, vehicles, and materials.
- Assign crews based on skillsets, certifications, and workload capacity.
- Confirm permits, access codes, and job-site readiness before work begins.
- Centralize operational oversight to prevent miscommunication or delays.

4.Drive Field Efficiency, Quality, and Process Improvement
- Monitor labor hours, materials usage, and job completion to meet margins.
- Identify workflow inefficiencies; implement SOPs and process
improvements.
- Ensure quality standards are consistently met across all crews and projects.


5.Oversee Equipment, Fleet, and Facility Readiness

- Manage maintenance, inspection, and repair of vehicles, tools, and equipment.
- Maintain organized, secure, and fully stocked shop, yard, and        facility spaces.
- Coordinate fuel, materials, and parts to support job readiness
