AR439 - Part-Time Housekeeper - TriBeCa

The candidate will be overseen by a housekeeper/house manager, who will train them on the principal’s requirements and assist with housekeeping. Qualifications: Washing floors using a robot vacuum and vacuuming with a regular vacuum .

Overview:

Housekeeper needed once a week for a busy working professional.  This is a 3,600-square-foot duplex two-bedroom apartment in TriBeCa. The day of the week can vary as long as it is within Monday-Friday, depending on the housekeeper's schedule, but it would need to be 6-7 hours on that day. The candidate will be overseen by a housekeeper/house manager, who will train them on the principal’s requirements and assist with housekeeping. This role is looking to hire ASAP. The principal is kind and cares about her employees. She may have extra work for them to do, especially around events, should the candidate want more hours. The pay is $45 an hour, take home, after taxes

Qualifications:

• Washing floors using a robot vacuum and vacuuming with a regular vacuum
• Washing linens and making the beds properly
• Dusting
• Organizing drawers and clothes
• Washing clothes when necessary 
• Deep cleaning, especially bathrooms and kitchen
• Cleaning fridge and freezer
• Watering plants on the terraces
• Emptying dishwasher
• Taking care of art (nothing but dusting carefully)
• Minimal steaming of clothes, not often

Requirements:

• Kind and caring
• Able to work with one other caring staff member
• Willing and open to being trained
• Reliable
• Experience taking care of clothes
• Cautious and asks questions before cleaning musical instruments and art
• Works with attention to detail

Salary and Benefits:

• $45 an hour take home
