Accounts Receivable Specialist
Location: Tigard, OR
Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time Contract
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join a growing accounting team in Tigard. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with customers, managing collections, processing payments, and maintaining accurate financial records in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Process customer payments and post cash receipts
Generate and distribute invoices accurately and timely
Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances
Communicate with customers regarding payment status and account inquiries
Reconcile customer accounts and investigate discrepancies
Maintain accurate accounts receivable records
Prepare reports and support month-end closing activities
Assist with other accounting and administrative projects as needed
Qualifications
Previous Accounts Receivable experience
Experience with billing, cash applications, and collections
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
