Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in a key role supporting the company’s financial operations. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of AR experience, strong financial reporting skills, and the ability to build and maintain productive vendor and customer relationships.

This is a high-visibility role for a detail-oriented professional who can manage multiple priorities, identify discrepancies, and ensure accurate and timely financial information.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  
• Manage the full accounts receivable process, including invoicing, cash application, collections, account reconciliations, and payment processing.
• 
  
• Prepare and analyze AR aging reports, identifying past-due accounts and developing strategies to improve collections and cash flow.
• 
  
• Build and maintain strong vendor and customer relationships, serving as a key point of contact for account questions, discrepancies, and payment issues.
• 
  
• Prepare accurate financial reports and reconciliations while researching and resolving variances and outstanding balances.
• 
  
• Partner with accounting and finance leadership during month-end close and provide accurate AR reporting and analysis.
• 
  
• Maintain accurate records and ensure transactions are properly documented and applied.
• 
  
• Identify opportunities to improve AR processes, reporting, and overall efficiency.
• 
  

Qualifications

• 
  
• 5+ years of progressive Accounts Receivable experience.
• 
  
• Strong understanding of AR processes, reconciliations, aging reports, and financial reporting.
• 
  
• Proven ability to develop and maintain strong vendor/customer relationships.
• 
  
• Highly analytical and extremely detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
• 
  
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• 
  
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the broader accounting team.
• 
  
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills; ERP/accounting system experience preferred.
• 
  
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
•
