Description

Splish, splash, and come have a blast as the Aquatics Manager at Dakotah Sports and Fitness! You will provide a safe environment for all swimmers and guard the pool in an efficient manner enforcing all rules consistently. Enjoy weekly pay, career growth opportunities, and fitness benefits.

Job Overview: The purpose of this position is to contribute to membership sales and retention, to supervise the aquatics staff, to plan, implement and continually expand programs within the aquatics which will utilize the facilities to their maximum potential on a year round basis and generate revenues to operate the facilities, to develop and provide service enhancements, and to ensure the safety, maintenance and cleanliness of the aquatics area and equipment. Schedules and coordinates CPR/First Aid training for departments.

Job Requirements:

Reflects MINIMUM EDUCATION, TRAINING, CERTIFICATION and EXPERIENCE required in order to meet the expectation of this job:

  • 2-4 years water instruction and life guarding experience
  • 2+ years of indirect or 1 year of direct leadership experience
  • Basic knowledge of human anatomy, physiology and kinesiology
  • Lifeguard Training Certification
  • C.P.R. and First Aid Certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment
  • Valid Class D driver’s license may be required with a good driving record
  • Has the physical abilities to perform the required job duties with or without accommodations, including on feet 50% of time.
  • Capacity to handle and lift up to 25 lbs. as needed.
