Overview Position: Aquatics Instructor Location/Dept.: Ray & Joan Kroc Corps Community Center, Philadelphia Schedule: Part-time - (as needed during swim lessons cycles) Must be willing and able to work weekends and evenings as may be required in performance of duties or as requested to support the ongoing program offerings of the Kroc Center.
Reporting Relationship: Aquatics Manager (AM), Aquatics Supervisor (AS) Salary: $20.00 Grade: 76 Status: Non exempt
Responsibilities The Aquatics Instructor provides swim lessons to individuals of all ages and instructional levels. Additionally, this function assures the safe utilization of all aquatic areas by Kroc Center members and guests. The use of superior customer service in providing oversight of these areas is required.
Must be flexible in support of the Kroc Center team in all areas of aquatic operation, as needed and assigned.
Qualifications
As a Mandated Reporter, must provide proof of having completed training on recognizing and reporting child abuse meeting the training standards of PA Act 153 of 2014 within 30 days of employment with recurrent training required every five years thereafter.
