    A day in the life

    Your morning starts with a route review and a stocked truck. You head to homes and commercial sites to keep pools and hot tubs running flawlessly. One stop might be a spa with a tripped heater; the next, a pool opening that needs brushing, vacuuming, and chemical checks. You diagnose issues, repair equipment, deliver and set up new hot tubs, and keep a tight schedule while updating the office with billing details.

    What you'll do

    • Diagnose and repair hot tub and pool problems across mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems
    • Deliver and install hot tub purchases, including full setup and customer walkthroughs
    • Fulfill cleaning maintenance contracts: cleaning, brushing, raking, and vacuuming pools and spas
    • Perform seasonal openings and closings for summer and winter
    • Conduct routine water testing and chemical balancing
    • Order and manage service parts to keep jobs moving
    • Maintain and respect all company equipment
    • Work efficiently within time limits and keep the service schedule on track
    • Track and submit accurate billing information for service calls to the office

    Where you'll work

    Mostly in the field—at customers’ residences and commercial properties—indoors and outdoors. You’ll operate in a self-managed environment, so being self-motivated, efficient, and disciplined is essential. Professional presentation and a comfort with consultative, solution-oriented conversations are preferred.

    What it takes

    • Experience preferred; technically savvy and mechanically inclined
    • Reliable problem-solver who can learn and understand pool and hot tub systems
    • Basic knowledge of electrical/electronics and electrical systems
    • Backgrounds in automotive, HVAC, appliance repair, handyman/home repair, plumbing, or pool/spa work are a plus
    • Physically able to bend, sit, stand, and lift for extended periods

    Qualifications

    • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
    • Positive attitude even on busy days
    • Flexible schedule
    • Willingness to travel out of town if needed
