Aprio's L&D Senior Specialist, Tax Training is responsible for delivering high-quality training programs that enhance the professional growth and expertise of the firm's tax professionals. This role focuses on facilitating engaging training sessions, both in-person and virtually, that align with the firm's strategic goals and industry standards. The L&D Senior Specialist, Tax Training collaborates closely with subject matter experts and tax partners to ensure that training content is accurate, relevant, and effectively meets the learning needs of Aprio's tax team. This team member seamlessly translates complex tax topics into accessible and practical learning experiences and has a strong understanding of tax software. The incumbent is also responsible for assessing the effectiveness of training programs and making continuous improvements to ensure continuous learning and professional excellence.
The L&D Senior Specialist, Tax Training must be naturally curious, innovative, and capable of managing multiple training initiatives simultaneously. This team member has strong interpersonal skills, creatively engages learners, communicates effectively, and can adapt to the evolving development needs of the firm's tax team. To excel in this role, they must also possess a strong foundation in instructional design methodologies and be able to apply these concepts in a professional services environment.
The L&D Senior Specialist, Tax Training reports directly to the Senior Manager, Learning & Development, and contributes to fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional excellence within Aprio.
Occasional travel and participation in firmwide learning initiatives may be required.
