Job Title: Apprenticeship and Work-Based Learning Coordinator

Summary: The Apprenticeship and Work-Based Learning Coordinator develops, implements, and expands apprenticeship and work-based learning opportunities that strengthen the regional workforce and respond to employer needs. Working closely with employers, faculty, workforce partners, students, and government agencies, this position connects Iowa Valley's education and training programs with regional workforce needs. The coordinator serves as the primary institutional contact for U.S. Department of Labor Registered Apprenticeship programs and assists employers with program development, registration, implementation, and ongoing compliance.
Job Responsibilities:
Education and Experience: Completion of a Bachelor''s degree and 2-3 years of experience working with manufacturing employers, in a manufacturing environment, workforce development, apprenticeship administration, or a related field required. Relevant experience may be substituted for the educational requirement. Experience working in a community college, career and technical education, or economic development setting preferred. Experience developing or administering U.S. Department of Labor Registered Apprenticeship programs preferred. Knowledge of U.S. Department of Labor apprenticeship standards, registration procedures, and reporting requirements preferred.
Certifications and Licenses: Valid state driver's license.
Abilities: Demonstrated ability to build effective partnerships with employers and community organizations. Strong written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to travel throughout the Iowa Valley service area and occasionally beyond the region.
Base Wage: $47,472-$63,296 annually - actual salary will be based on experience and education.
