Schedule & Compensation

·        Full-time, non-exempt hourly position.

·        Four (4) 10-hour workdays per week, Tuesday through Friday, for a regular 40-hour workweek.

·        Typical weekly assignment: 1–2 route delivery days and 2–3 apprentice service technician days, based on business needs.

·        Daily start/end times may vary based on route, service, installation, training, and customer needs.

·        Additional hours or after-hours emergency service may occasionally be required; overtime is paid in accordance with applicable law.

·        Hourly compensation with opportunity to earn commissions where applicable.


Position Summary

The Route Delivery Driver / Apprentice Service Technician is a full-time, cross-trained position designed to support both the Route Delivery and Service Departments. The employee will typically run established delivery routes one to two days per week and work as an Apprentice Service Technician the remaining two to three days per week.


On route days, this position is responsible for safely operating a company vehicle, delivering Culligan products, maintaining strong customer relationships, accurately completing route responsibilities, and identifying customer service and sales opportunities. On service days, the employee will work alongside experienced Service Technicians to learn the installation, preventative maintenance, diagnosis, repair, service, upgrade, and maintenance of Culligan and other water treatment equipment.


The goal of this position is to develop a dependable, versatile employee who can independently cover route responsibilities while progressing toward the skills and knowledge required to perform Service Technician duties.
