What Your Day Looks Like
- Operate manual equipment such as radial drills, saws, and cylindrical grinders.
- Support production by setting up machines for runs with training and mentorship.
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and written work instructions to produce accurate parts.
- Use hand metrology tools to check dimensions and validate part quality.
- Inspect finished work to ensure it meets all specifications and tolerances.
- Make routine machine adjustments under supervision to maintain part accuracy.
- Keep your workstation organized and safe throughout the shift.
- Follow established procedures for safety, quality, and manufacturing.
What You Bring
- Mechanical aptitude and genuine interest in learning machining.
- Comfort working safely around industrial machinery and tooling.
- Basic skill reading measurements and technical information.
- Strong attention to detail and a continuous learning mindset.
- Experience in manufacturing, shop environments, or machine operation is a plus.
- Training in machining/manufacturing or technical/trade school is beneficial but not required.
