    Description

    Position Scope

    The Level 2 Apprentice has developed fundamental electrical skills and can perform routine installation tasks with limited supervision while continuing technical education.

    Location & Travel: This role offers nationwide opportunities based on project needs, with project assignments typically lasting between 4 to 10 months. In addition to your hourly pay, you’ll receive a daily per diem to assist with living expenses while on assignment.

    Our CE&I Division delivers integrated controls, electrical, and instrumentation solutions for industrial and mission-critical infrastructure projects. From utility interconnects through final terminations, our CE&I Division supports data centers, water and wastewater treatment facilities, natural gas facilities, and industrial process environments with safe, reliable, and execution-focused delivery.

     

    Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

    • Install EMT, PVC, and flexible conduit.
    • Pull and terminate conductors under supervision.
    • Install boxes, supports, devices, and lighting fixtures.
    • Read basic blueprints and electrical drawings.
    • Assist in panel installations.
    • Perform basic troubleshooting with supervision.
    • Measure, bend, and install conduit.
    • Operate common power tools safely.
    • Complete daily work assignments independently.

     

    Education and Work Experience

    • May require a high school diploma or its equivalent with previous years of experience in the field or in a related area.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    • Must possess knowledge skills and abilities for position, including basic electrical theory and familiarity with NEC fundamentals.
    • Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions and communicate effectively with management/supervision
    • Field experience in chosen craft discipline, including the ability to interpret simple prints and perform basic conduit bending
    • Knowledge of the safe and efficient use of hand tools, power tools, and layout tools.
